Led by Boston-based mezzo-soprano SarahAnn Duffy-Albertazzi, Tazzi Studios combines professional performance experience with a deep passion for connecting audiences through music. As a professional vocalist and Carnegie Hall soloist with more than nine years of teaching experience, SarahAnn works with students of all ages and levels—from first-time beginners to developing and advanced performers.
Voice lessons span a wide range of styles, including classical, musical theater, pop, and contemporary music. Whether you're discovering your voice for the first time, returning to singing, preparing for an audition or performance, or simply looking for a creative outlet, lessons are thoughtfully tailored to help you develop confidence, artistry, and healthy vocal technique.
SarahAnn's teaching philosophy centers on vocal freedom, efficient technique, musicality, and meaningful communication. Students learn not only how to sing, but how to understand, trust, and care for their instrument in a healthy and sustainable way.
The studio also offers beginner piano instruction focused on strong musical foundations, including note reading, rhythm, technique, and musicianship. Lessons blend structure and creativity while encouraging confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong connection to music.

Whether performing for an audience or working one-on-one with a student, Tazzi Studios is rooted in the belief that music should be both technically grounded and deeply expressive.
Every student arrives with a different voice, personality, learning style, and set of goals. Tazzi Studios takes an individualized approach to music education, tailoring each lesson to the unique student in front of me—whether they are taking their first musical steps, developing their technique, preparing for an audition, or simply looking for a creative outlet.
I believe music education should develop far more than musical skill. Singing and playing an instrument engage the brain in uniquely complex ways, strengthening memory, focus, coordination, listening, creativity, and self-expression while building confidence and discipline. More importantly, music gives students a meaningful way to explore who they are and connect with others.
My teaching combines healthy technique, musicality, curiosity, and creativity in an encouraging environment where students are challenged appropriately while feeling supported and celebrated. The goal isn't simply to teach someone how to sing a song or play a piece—it is to help each student become a more confident, expressive, independent, and lifelong musician.

SarahAnn's attained a Master of Music from the Bard College Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Music from New England Conservatory of Music. Her performance career includes appearances at Carnegie Hall, Glimmerglass Festival, Sarasota Opera, Chautauqua Opera, and leading concert venues throughout the country.
Whether on the operatic stage or performing for an intimate gathering, she brings the same commitment to musicality, communication, and creating a meaningful experience for her audience.
